At BeatStars, you can expect a standardized interview process

All BeatStars squad members complete our Hiring and Interview Bootcamp before participating in any interview panel. This covers unconscious biases, DEI in interviewing, tools we use, and our overall hiring philosophy.

If you’re selected to participate in our interview process as a candidate, you can expect to:
Apply for a position
Speak with our Talent Acquisition team
Complete a technical assessment (for tech roles)
Interview with 3-4 squad members and the hiring manager
Receive an offer

Recruitment FAQs

Is it possible to edit a submitted application or send a new resume? Can I withdraw my application?

Our applicant tracking system does not allow candidates to edit a previously submitted application, however, if you need to make changes to your application, please contact us directly at careers@beatstars.com and indicate which role you applied for and the correction needed. Candidates can withdraw their application by also emailing careers@beatstars.com.

How long is the hiring process?

Depending on the number of applicants and open positions, the hiring process can take approximately 3-6 weeks. We’re committed to moving candidates through in a timely manner.

How can I check on the status of my application?

You can contact us at careers@beatstars.com to check on your application. Please keep in mind that we receive many applications, and it may take up to two weeks to hear back from us.

Can I apply to more than one job at BeatStars at the same time?

We recommend that you hone in on one position that most closely matches your skills, experience, and career goals. If there are multiple positions or another role that is more aligned with your resume, we will contact you.

I wasn’t selected for a role I applied for, but I would like to know about similar positions that become available. What should I do?

Are there internships available at BeatStars?

Yes! At BeatStars, we welcome students and new grads who want to redefine the music industry and empower creators globally. Visit our job board for available internship opportunities.

Do I need a music industry or tech background to apply to open positions?

Not at all! Many of our squad members hail from a variety of professional backgrounds including business, human resources, media, finance, and more. If there is a specific requirement or experience required for the position, it will be included in the job description.

Do you offer part-time or contract positions?

We do, and and if available, they’ll be posted on our job board along with full-time positions and internships.
